So, I've been thinking lots about colors, decor, etc cause our house reno is almost done, which means so is my room! I wanted to pick a theme, and think of some things decorate with. So why not give you those ideas too? Heres a list of things that might add just a little somethin to your room, and soon mine too:

Hey hey.

Yet another history of fashion post is coming you're way! "So sit back, relax, and enjoy the magic of Imax!" haha just kidding... but you can still enjoy it ;) 

Todays history lesson is on the fashion of the 80's. Just from looking at some pictures, I can already say, woah... nice hair...!? The 80's had some high waisted pants, browns and oranges, pinks, blues, velour, and velvet. Bright, bold makeup, hair, and accessories was a thing, especially for the teens. But there was lots of variety too! Brand names were big, especially Nike.
The fastest way to get teen wearing the tend was from watching celebrities music videos.  

Near the end of the 80's, mini skirts weren't as popular, because woman weren't comfortable wearing short skirts. They wanted longer skirts, as well as variety. Here are some pictures:

I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas for if your ever stuck
with what to get your friend!
People can sometimes be hard to shop for soooo, here are my ideas/tips:




#1

Fill a cup, jar or box with different things your friend is interested in.
- nail polish
-makeup
-chocolate
-stationary items
-socks
-hair accessories
Tip: pick a theme, it might make it easier!

If your friend is like me, they would love a plant... haha
Thinking about things their interested in will make the gift a little more personal, and easier to find:)
You can also make them something, like a sign for their bedroom, a diy pillow, anything of their interest...

Buy an outfit.
Yes, this sounds expensive, but if you go to the sale section of a store, you can find a shirt or dress and accessories for cheap to make an outfit!
(F21 & H&M have great ones)

Make a box full of things that someone is interested in. (kinda like #1)
-Baking box: sprinkles, cupcake liners, cute tooth pics...
-Craft box: Paper, pens, stamps, ink, ribbon, cards...
-Room decor box: Little lights, banner, succulent...
-Fashion box: Sunglasses, jewelry, fashion book, scarf...
-Hair box: dry shampoo, hair ties, headband, hat...

Movie ticket/shopping date.
Get them and you a movie ticket for a fun night out, or a gift card so you can go shopping together!
